Susan Parsons was born in St. John's Newfoundland, Canada.

After graduating from the college of Trades Technology with a Commercial Art Diploma, she worked, for a while as a commercial artist but has worked with the Federal Government for the past 25 years.

She works in oil, watercolor, acrylic, graphite, and clay. Susan resides in St. John's, NL with her two daughters Erin and Megan Sooley.
