Sheila Coultas’s passion for oil painting and the visual arts began in high school. A natural evolution brought her through two years of the Textile Studies Program at the Anna Templeton Centre where she gained technical and creative development skills.

 This was followed with two years in the Community Youth Arts Program, where she continued to build on her artistic skills and developed leadership and teaching skills, the first year as a participant and the second as a group mentor.

Sheila has exhibited in numerous fundraisers and group shows, and has held several solo and duel exhibits - each one different from the next and each one building on the other.

Sheila continues to enjoy a confidence with paint and other mediums that is motivating for herself and individuals she continues to mentor.
